Meet Alexis

Alexis J. has been writing poetry, prose, and screenplays since she was in the second grade, and was convinced she’d be the next Steven Spielberg by age twelve.

Her goals may have changed since then, but her creativity has never stopped growing. Apart from her own screenplays, novels, poetry, and other works, she has expanded her scope to include marketing campaign concepts, advertising, social media copy, blogs, essays, and more. Her strengths include proofreading materials and adding nuance and depth, drawing on years of working with multicultural groups and content creators. She is also an avid student and will complete her Master of Fine Arts degree in May 2026. 

Though she was born in Arizona and spent most of her life in the Southwest U.S., Alexis now lives and works in Los Angeles, where she is devoted to inspiring her fellow creatives by supporting local arts initiatives and nonprofit organizations.
